MAGA descends into conspiracy theory frenzy as Barack Obama visits with UK prime minster

A surprise visit paid by former President Barack Obama to UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in London Monday has sparked speculation from Trump supporters that it was another sign that President Joe Biden is not in charge.

While it's not known exactly what the meeting was about, a Downing Street spokesperson said the visit was an "informal courtesy drop-in" as part of Obama's visit to London, according to news reports.

"President Obama's team made contact and obviously the prime minister was very happy to meet with him and discuss the work of the Obama Foundation," the spokesperson said.

But according to some of Donald Trump's most loyal supporters, Obama's visit was a sign that something more sinister is afoot.

"Why is Obama having private meetings with world leaders?" conservative commentator and conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer said in a post to X.

According to X user TheThe1776, "Obama meeting officials in a Private meeting should tell everyone that this is Obama's third term and Biden is his puppet/scapegoat."

Another X user agreed that the meeting signals a "third" term for Obama.

"More proof we are in Obama's 3rd Term!!! He just arrived at 10 Downing Street for a private meeting," wrote X user Graham Allen.

"He no longer trusts Joe Biden... He is handling it himself," wrote X user GuntherEagleman.

One of the X conspiracists took their speculation down a more sinister rabbit hole.

"VERY interesting," wrote X user Clandestine. "Obama meets for a private conversation with UK Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, in London. The Deep State are in panic mode. Putin just won his election, and Trump is projected to win as well. They have to act. Obama is scheming. Next hoax incoming…"

Newsweek reported that the London meeting comes on the heels of speculation that Michelle Obama is considering an emergency run for president due to concerns over Biden's age.
