Ben Carson trolled by Wikipedia pranksters linking him to pedophilia advocacy website

Republican presidential contender Ben Carson, who has made disparaging remarks about gays and same-sex marriage, found himself on the receiving end of retribution after pranksters linked a pedophilia website to his Wikipedia page.

During a Fox News appearance, the retired neurosurgeon equated gays with pedophiles and people who practice bestiality, saying, "Marriage is between a man and a woman. No group, be they gays, be they NAMBLA, be they people who believe in bestiality, it doesn't matter what they are. They don't get to change the definition."

On Wednesday, a Google search of Carson's name returned the normal Wikipedia link, but with NAMBLA listed at the first suggestion after his name.

The gaming of search results is reminiscent of former Senator Rick Santorum's name being associated to an anal sex byproduct following similar comments about gays in 2003.

In an interview with Breitbart News, Carson campaign communications director Doug Watts said, “It looks like the trolls are out in force," before adding, "We’ve complained to Google and filled out requests to take it down that have been ignored.”
