Bernie Sanders rips Clinton: Don't just 'talk the talk' on fixing 'corrupt' campaign finance system

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) accused Hillary Clinton on Friday of lacking substance when she criticizes what he called the country's "corrupt" campaign finance system during a Democratic presidential candidate forum.

"I don't think it's good enough just to talk the talk on campaign finance reform," Sanders told MSNBC host Rachel Maddow. "You've gotta walk the walk. I am the only Democratic candidate who does not have a super PAC. I am not asking millionaires and billionaires for large campaign contributions."

Maddow brought up Sanders' recent interview with the Boston Globe editorial board, during which he stated that he disagreed with the former secretary of state on "virtually everything."

"'Virtually' is the key word there," he said.

"I was gonna say, seems to me that 'virtually' is doing a lot of work," Maddow responded.

The senator insisted that he would not "beat up" on Clinton, but added, "I would not have run if I believed that establishment politics and establishment economics can solve the very serious problems that we face."
