Bill Clinton used billionaire Jeffrey Epstein's 'Lolita Express' for African charity tour

Former President Bill Clinton used a plane owned by billionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein on at least 11 occasions, sharing a flight on many of them with women accused of "recruiting" underage girls Epstein would later victimize, Gawker reported.

According to flight logs for Epstein's private jet, Clinton flew on the plane at the same time as Epstein's former assistant, Sarah Kellen, and Ghislaine Maxwell, on 11 flights between 2002 and 2003. Maxwell's father, Robert Maxwell, was a publishing magnate who owned both the British newspaper the Mirror and the New York Daily News before he died in 1991.

One of those trips was a week-long tour of Africa in September 2002 during which Clinton was joined by current National Security Council member Gayle Smith, as well as actors Kevin Spacey and Chris Tucker. The trip reportedly covered policies dealing with AIDS prevention.

Eight months earlier, Epstein, Kellen and Maxwell rode with Clinton on a trip from Japan to Hong Kong. Clinton's Secret Service detail and aide Doug Band were also noted on that flight's log, along with two women identified as "Janice" and "Jessica." Clinton also reportedly flew with Epstein on trips to Russia, Shanghai and Beijing in November 2003. According to the British newspaper The Mirror, residents living near Epstein's villa in the Virgin Islands have nicknamed his collection of jets the "Lolita Express."

Epstein, a former hedge fund manager who has reportedly donated more than $112,000 to various Democratic Party candidates, reached a deal with prosecutors and pled guilty in 2008 to one count of soliciting an underage girl for prostitution. He served 13 months in jail. He was originally accused of paying for several girls to give him "erotic massages" at his villa in Palm Beach, Florida

According to Gawker, local authorities prepared a warrant at one point for Kellen's arrest and intended to charge her as an accessory to molestation and sex with minors. But Kellen reached an non-prosecution agreement in 2007 granting her immunity. She was never arrested or charged.

As Business Insider reported, Epstein's past resurfaced after investigators accused him of tampering with witnesses in the case. Two of his alleged victims have also said that they were not informed of his plea deal, which would be in violation of the Crime Victims' Rights Act.

One of those women, Virginia Roberts, said in court documents that Epstein sexually abused her and forced her to have sex with friends of his, including prominent attorney Alan Dershowitz and Prince Andrew of England. Both the prince and Dershowitz have denied the allegations.

Roberts told the Daily Mail in 2011 that she met Clinton on two occasions alongside Epstein, but that she was never "lent out" to the former president, nor did Clinton show an interest in other dining companions Roberts thought were underage.

"Bill must have known about Jeffrey's girls." she said at the time. "There were three desks in the living area of the villa on the island. They were covered with pictures of Jeffrey shaking hands with famous people and photos of naked girls, including one of me that Jeffrey had at all his houses, lying in a hammock."

Roberts, who was 26 at the time of her interview with the Mail and living in Australia, has also accused Maxwell of taking pictures of Epstein's victims "in sexually explicit poses" and keeping the photos on his computer. She said Maxwell also abused girls she would "procure" for Epstein.

The Mail reported earlier this month that Maxwell attended the wedding of Clinton's daughter, Chelsea Clinton, even though the former president severed ties to Epstein after he came under investigation for his actions against young women.
