Bill O'Reilly thinks women will make up migraines to get abortions

Fox News host Bill O'Reilly accused Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders on Friday of providing cover for women wanting abortions for frivolous reasons.

"If you are going to say that the two Democrats running for president both favor pretty much abortion at any time, for any reason, and they hide behind the women's health issue," O'Reilly told contributor Kirsten Powers. "But that could be a migraine headache, you know -- 'OK, I don't want to have the kid, my boyfriend left me, my husband left me, whatever it may be, I got a migraine, kid is going to be born next week.'"

"I don't think that many people get abortions because they have a migraine headache," Powers responded.

"OK, it doesn't matter," the host said. "It's theoretical. When you have two candidates saying they don't want any limitations in the law place. They don't want any."

O'Reilly then alluded to George Tiller, the Kansas abortion provider he regularly called "Tiller the baby killer" before Tiller was shot and killed. O'Reilly later defended his attacks on Tiller as "accurate reporting."

Tiller's services, O'Reilly said on Friday, were "so far from what the American people want."
