'A bloody brilliant rubbish fire to behold': John Oliver's mind blown by American who faked being British royal watcher

One of the lead commentators on the recent British Royal wedding, Thomas J. Mace-Archer-Mills, has been revealed to not be British at all.

As Mace-Archer-Mills, he positioned himself as a soft critic of new Princess Meghan Markle, who he described as an interloper.

"You do not upstage the future queen of this country," he said. " "especially when you're coming in the way that you are. When you start to take the spotlight from someone like Katherine. And you swoop into the United Kingdom, 'Here I am! The American!' And you're wanting to really upstage the Duchess of Cambridge and future Queen? I won't have it!"

Well, Mace-Archer-Mills has now been revealed to be Thomas Muscatello, from upstate New York. He's now back on TV, maintaining his Britishness.

"It's a bloody brilliant rubbish fire to behold," Oliver said.
