A second head of state has set President Donald Trump straight for claiming Europe "gets their money back" from Ukraine.
First, it was French President Emanuel Macron who interrupted Trump earlier this week.
"Just so you understand, Europe is loaning the money to Ukraine. They get their money back," Trump said with Macron in the Oval Office.
Macron quickly corrected Trump, saying, "No, in fact, to be frank, we paid 60% of the total effort. And it was through, like the U.S., loans, guaranteed grants, and we provided real money."
On Thursday, it was British Prime Minister Keir Starmer's turn.

Trump said of Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky, "We're going to be signing the deal together, probably in front of the media, and we're going to be having a good conversation."
Trump continued, "We want to work with him, President Zelensky...we want to work with him and we will work with him. I think the president and I actually have had a very good relationship. It maybe got a little bit testy because we wanted to have a little bit of what the European nations had. You know, they get their money back by giving money. We don't get the money back. Biden made a deal -- he put in $350 billion, and I thought it was a very unfair situation."
At that, Starmer interrupted, "We're not getting all of ours. I mean, quite a bit of ours was gifted. It was given. There were some loans, but mainly it was gifted, actually."
Trump ignored Starmer's assertion, just as he did with Macron.
