BUSTED: Neo-Nazi electrician fired after participating in Charlottesville white supremacist rally

John Ramondetta, AKA Johnny Monoxide, an alt-right podcaster and blogger for “The Right Stuff,” has been fired from his job as an electrician with San Francisco’s Rosendin Electric, SFist reports.

Ramondetta was identified after attending the Charlottesville “Unite the Right” rally, and was scheduled to speak at the deadly event. According to SFist, a flyer featuring Ramondetta circulated around Sutter heath CPMC hospital, which contracts Rosendin Electric. The flyer included a picture of Ramondetta and racial epithets he allegedly spoke on his podcast.

Ramondetta told the San Francisco Chronicle he’s “conferring with people” about the firing, adding he “knows California law.” In a statement, IBEW Local Union No. 6 stood by Ramondetta, while adding it unequivocally “condemns white nationalism and white supremacy.”

“While IBEW Local Union No. 6 does not share the views and opinions expressed by John Ramondetta, we recognize that the Constitution of the United States allows him to express those views and opinions provided that he does so in accordance with the law," a statement from the union read. "The authority of IBEW Local 6 to discipline or otherwise hold Mr. Ramondetta accountable does not extend to the expression of his views and opinions as an individual outside of the workplace.”

"To be perfectly clear, IBEW Local Union No. 6 also condemns white nationalism and white supremacy,” it added.
