‘He came to believe he was untouchable and invincible’: Trump biographer explains president’s ‘fabricated reality’

President Donald Trump "has become increasingly isolated" as he faces mounting "political and legal dangers," the L.A. Timesreported Thursday.

The ghostwriter of the 1987 book The Art of the Deal explained that the trouble comes from Trump's long-held belief that he is above the law.

"He got away with so much, for so long, that he came to believe he was untouchable and invincible,” Tony Schwartz explained.

“Lie about everything, attack back twice as hard as you’ve been hit, keep at it relentlessly until people finally give up and [they] stop arguing with your fabricated reality," lawyer Roy Cohn taught Trump.

"Trump is still living in that reality, but the world isn’t going along with him anymore,” Schwartz explained.
