December 06, 2023
Expelled former GOP congressman George Santos is making more money by appearing in Cameo videos than he got from is congressional salary, Semafor reported Wednesday.
In just 48 hours, Santos has earned much more than the $170,000 he was paid annually, the report stated.
Cameo CEO Steven Galanis told Semafor that Santos is going to be "an absolute whale" on the platform, saying the disgraced congressman is competing with the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker and Jon Bon Jovi for the platform's most successful launches.

"This platform was built for him and he was built for it," Galanis said.
Santos started out offering video messages for $75 a pop, which he has since upped to $400 as demand grew.
One of those utilizing Santos' services was Sen. John Fetterman, who paid $343.20 to have Santos call out embattled Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez, who has been accused of taking bribes.
