CIA officer turned GOP lawmaker is stunned to see the president being manipulated by Russia

Rep. Will Hurd (R-Texas) slammed President Donald Trump for being so easily manipulated by Vladimir Putin.

On Monday the two world leaders held a joint press conference during their summit.

Hurd reacted to the press conference in a string of tweets. He started off his reflections by saying: "To all our allies: there are still many of us in Congress that know Russia is not just an adversary to the United States but to freedom loving people everywhere."

He then said that he was stunned that the president played directly into the "KGB hands."

"I've seen Russian intelligence manipulate many people over my professional career and I never would have thought that the US President would become one of the ones getting played by old KGB hands."
