CNN gets hammered after focusing on metal music instead of racism in reporting on arson of black churches

On Friday, Twitter users slammed CNN over their coverage of Holden Matthews, who was arrested in connection with burning down three black churches in Louisiana.

Matthews, the son of a deputy, was charged with three counts of arson. However, instead of focusing on the overt racism in burning down three black churches, CNN focused on Matthews fascination with "black metal" music.

Twitter users railed against CNN for "scapegoating."
