CNN reveals Republicans' #1 midterm election strategy

On Friday, CNN's Jake Tapper dived deep into the voter suppression tactics used by the Republican Party to help them win elections.

Democrat Jason Kander said voter suppression is "the number one strategy of the Trump re-election campaign."

"It became really clear to me that the voter suppression strategy I had seen the Republicans run at the state level in Missouri when I was the secretary of state, was about to be run on a national level," he said.

"I argue it is the number one strategy of the Trump re-election campaign," he added.

"I've had plenty of Republican elected officials speak with me privately, and tell me that they're disgusted by what they hear in the Republican caucus meetings and it absolutely is a political strategy. They secretly tell me they really appreciate what I'm doing."
