CNN's Cuomo hammers Corey Lewandowski for saying the Mueller probe is wasting money: 'Trump playing golf is wasting taxpayers money’

CNN's Chris Cuomo slammed President Donald Trump's former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski on Monday's night show.

Lewandowski claimed that special counsel Muller's investigation was a waste of time and taxpayers dollars.

"We spent tens of millions of dollars on an investigation that proves we didn't do anything," Lewandowski said.

Cuomo quickly corrected him and said that President Trump wastes more taxpayers dollars in one weekend playing golf.

"The president spends that in one weekend playing golf. The money isn't the issue," Cuomo said.
