CNN's Jeffery Toobin slams Trump's racist attacks on black reporters: These are not 'random selections' of people

On Friday, CNN commentator Jeffrey Toobin said that President Donald Trump's latest attack on reporters all had one thing in common.

Trump has continued his attacks on reporters. On Friday, he called CNN reporter Abby Phillip's question about the new acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker “a stupid question.”

He then called veteran White House reporter April Ryan "a loser."

Toobin said that Trump clearly has a problem with black people since he has attacked Ryan, Phillip, and even CNN's Don Lemon.

Toobin said that Trump has constantly attacked black people citing, LeBron James, Colin Kaepernick, and Andrew Gillum.

"There is a racial dimension to this. The idea that this was some random selection of journalists he doesn't like is not the case. It's always black people with this president," he said.
