University of Kansas wins NCAA mens basketball National Championship with largest comeback in history

By Chris Rosvoglou For the first time since 2008, the Kansas Jayhawks are national championships. On Monday night, they erased a 15-point halftime deficit to defat the North Carolina Tar Heels. Kansas’ top playmakers all stepped up in the second half, especially Remy Martin and David McCormack. They made some key shots for the Jayhawks down the stretch. North Carolina had a couple of great looks from beyond the arc to tie the game in the closing seconds, but Hubert Davis’ squad was unable to convert when it truly needed a basket.
