Conan on Roseanne's scripted death: 'Finally a funeral Trump can attend'

It was announced Tuesday that the way Roseanne will be officially removed from her own show and a spinoff will launch with the rest of the Connor family. The way they're shoving Roseanne out will be by killing her off.

The news was enough to cause a chuckle from late-night comedian Conan O'Brien, who exclaimed, "Finally! A funeral [President Donald] Trump can attend."

Trump was intentionally not invited to Sen. John McCain's funeral. The speakers at the Saturday service will be former Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush.

"It's been reported that President Trump's rhythm with Jeff Sessions is 'Beyond repair," Conan continued. "Yeah, apparently the relationship is so bad and awkward, Trump now refers to Sessions as Melania."

Conan also welcomed a lawyer who won a contest to co-host the show with a donation to Next for Autism. They quickly discovered he looks remarkably like Richard Geer if you close one eye and glance quickly. The encouraged him to help the show out with a special commercial.
