An antisemitic sign was placed outside the office of a pro-Israel Republican lawmaker from Michigan.
Rep. Tim Walberg (R-MI), a former pastor who previously worked for the Moody Bible Institute, issued a news release about the sign he said was posted on a tree outside his office window suggesting Jewish bankers were buying American politicians, reported Fox News.
"Jew u$ury buy$ USA pols," the sign reads, showing Uncle Sam removing his stovepipe hat to reveal a kippah with the Star of David on it.
"Our once great nation's downfall," the sign continues, showing a U.S. flag with the stars replaced by the Israeli flag. "Solution: name the Jew."

The sign included a link to a conspiracy website, and the language suggested a link to white supremacists, who encourage followers to "name the Jew," or identify Jewish elected officials or other leaders.
The congressman lamented the antisemitic vandalism and called for better education.
"One in five young Americans now think the Holocaust was a myth, and significantly more think it’s been exaggerated," Walberg said in a statement. "Unfortunately, in part due to a failure of truthful and honest education, this type of incident has become common. We need to make it rare again. We need to not only call out this bigotry when it occurs but examine the root causes and eliminate it."
