Trump super PAC fires Corey Lewandowski over new sexual misconduct allegations
Longtime Trump associate Corey Lewandowski has been fired from a pro-Trump super PAC after he allegedly made unwanted sexual advances toward a female donor.
The New York Times' Maggie Haberman reports that a Trump spokesperson confirmed on Wednesday night that Lewandowski will no longer run Make America Great Again Action and will instead being going on to "other endeavors."
The spokesperson added that Lewandowski "will no longer be associated with Trump World."
Taking his place will be former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, whom the spokesperson said "has our complete faith and confidence in taking over MAGA Action."
Earlier on Wednesday, Politico reported that Trashelle Odom, the wife of Idaho construction executive John Odom, accused Lewandowski of repeatedly touching her buttocks and of boasting about his penis size.
"On the evening of September 26 in Las Vegas, Nevada, I attended a dinner to support a charity and spend time with wonderful friends," Odom said in a prepared statement. "[Lewandowski] repeatedly touched me inappropriately, said vile and disgusting things to me, stalked me, and made me feel violated and fearful."
