Princeton University professor and longtime civil rights activist Cornel West endorsed Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders for president on Monday.
WAPT Channel 16 reported that West made the announcement via the social medium Twitter:
The sometimes prickly theologian went on to say:
West said that he does not fully endorse Sanders' views on Palestine, but made it clear that the socialist-leaning senator has his vote for 2016.
