Couple arrested for bondage role-playing on Valentine's Day

A couple in Portland, Oregon found themselves spending Valentine's Day in jail after their bondage role-playing resulted in nine police cruisers being dispatched.

Responding to reports that a naked woman was seen tied up in the back of a car with duct tape over her mouth, Portland police converged on New Seasons Market shortly after noon on Tuesday, according to KATU.

When police arrived, 26-year-old Stephanie Morgan Pelzner was still naked and bound in the car. She confirmed to authorities that she had simply been role-playing with her 31-year-old boyfriend, Nikolas Alexander Harbar.

Both were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

"You can't do things that are going to create a public alarm," Sgt. Pete Simpson told KATU. "When it starts to affect other people and the public, something like this is not okay."

"Role-play all you want, but when you do something that is going to generate a 911 call you should probably do it at home," he advised.
