'Cowardly': Trump Jr melts down after powerful 'so-called Republican' senator sends him a subpoena

Donald Trump, Jr. attacked a Republican Senator on his father's favorite social media platform as GOP infighting grows after the Senate Judiciary Committee subpoenaed the first son.

Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC), the chair of the committee, issued a subpoena on Wednesday.

Ryan Saavedra, a reporter at the conservative Daily Wire received a statement from a "source close to Donald Trump, Jr."

The statement slammed Burr as a "so-called 'Republican' senator too cowardly to stand up to his boss Mark Warner and the rest of the resistance Democrats on the committee."

Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) is the top Democrat on the committee, which is chaired by Burr.

Trump, Jr. seemingly blessed the statement as representing his thoughts when he publicly retweeted it.
