Jasmine Crockett lights up GOP for passing 'uglier than before' megabill

Never one to shy away from saying what she's thinking, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) cut right to the chase and ripped into Senate Republicans for passing Donald Trump's "bulls--t" budget bill with a much-needed assist to get it over the top from Vice President J.D. Vance.

Moments after the bill was approved despite no votes from GOP Sens. Thom Tillis (NC), Rand Paul (KY) and Susan Collins (ME), the blunt-talking Texas Democrat hopped on Bluesky and promised a fight in the House which must now give it's approval before it heads to Donald Trump's desk.

Over two posts she wrote, "Senate Republicans just passed Trump’s bullshit of a bill—and it’s even uglier than before. — At least 16 million could lose healthcare — Trillions will be added to the deficit — Hospitals will close — Children will go hungry Now it comes back to the House."

She then warned, "Democrats will be holding the line—because somebody has to fight for the folks they’re so quick to leave behind, including their own constituents."

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) joined the pile-on by adding, "Final vote. 50-50. VP breaks the tie. One single GOP Senator could have stopped this abomination. Saved millions of parents from watching their child go hungry. Saved the lives destroyed when Medicaid disappears. They will all live forever with the horror of this bill."
