The House will debate the censure of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) after she was outed for her public calls for the assassination of Democrats, attacks on school shooting survivors and shooting denialism, claims of a Jewish Space Laser and implication that a plane didn't hit the Pentagon on 9/11.
The Washington Post reported Monday that the House Rules Committee will hear debate on House Resolution 72, which would remove Greene from the Education and Labor Committee. While the resolution calls for her removal "from her committee assignments in light of conduct she has exhibited," the Post says that it doesn't cite examples, leaving plenty of opportunities for House Democrats to discuss the growing list of posts that Greene has made promoting false conspiracy theories.
The House GOP is expected to meet Wednesday, so it is unclear if Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) will act on Greene ahead of the publicized hearing.
Greene bragged that she would be meeting with former President Donald Trump "soon" and that he is a fan of hers.
