Democratic Congressman rips Trump as a 'man-baby' for retaliating against Nancy Pelosi

Rep. Dan Kildee (D-MI) called Trump's letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) nothing more than a fit from a "man-baby" who doesn't want to work hard and fix problems.

During an MSNBC appearance, the Congressman called Trump's accusations "ridiculous." He noted he was "just in a meeting" with Pelosi, and she indicated everyone would have to stay in Washington to do what they can to end the shutdown.

The White House is passing Trump's angry letter off as a "good faith effort" at negotiation. Kildee said this is obviously not the case.

"It is ridiculous," he said. "We are ready to take up any legislation that the president may sign or any legislation with sufficient votes to pass it without the president's signature. This is the president essentially being a man-baby all over again."

As part of a conversation about the classified codel to Afghanistan, Kildee said he didn't know anything about it.

"I will tell you this: [Pelosi] is a woman who'll take all responsibilities extraordinary," he said. "He works hard -- she works harder than anybody here on the globe. President Trump should take a lesson from her. If he worked that hard, he would not have and we would not have a problem."
