Devin Nunes gets busted using his campaign funds on wine tasting and trips to Las Vegas

Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif) has been using campaign donations for leisure activities like going to Celtics games and hitting up a winery, the Fresno Bee reports.

Nunes' PAC has also applied donations to catering and trips to Las Vegas.

On March 9, Nunes' PAC spent $7,229 on restaurants and hotels in Las Vegas. Nunes also spent the money at wineries and on a limousine in Paso Robles.

“I wish I could help you,” Nunes said, when reporters approached him with questions about his spending.

Nunes has been one of the lone lawmakers to bolster President Donald Trump's claim that the FBI spied on him during the 2016 election.

According to the Bee, his attacks on special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation have helped his fundraising.
