Disney's lawsuit against Ron DeSantis tossed by Florida judge

A federal lawsuit filed by Disney that claimed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis retaliated against the company for criticizing the state's "Don't Say Gay" law was thrown out by a judge Wednesday, NBC News reported.
The judge ruled that the lawsuit's legal standing was without merit.

The fight between Disney and DeSantis started when Disney criticized the Florida law that bars classroom discussions of sexual orientation and gender identity. Several lawsuits have been filed since, with Disney accusing DeSantis of retaliation.
DeSantis reacted by setting up the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District to replace an existing board that governs the area Disney stands on, and packing it with board members chosen by the state legislature.
