'I hate Mexicans!' Woman's racist tirade in Disneyland bathroom caught on camera

An unidentified woman was caught on camera going on a racist tirade against a Latina woman and her son for speaking Spanish to one another in a bathroom in Disneyland.

Local news station KTLA reports that Disneyland patron Eva Ramirez was speaking to her son in Spanish when a woman in the bathroom she was using accosted her for being a "Mexican."

At this point, Ramirez turned on her phone and began recording the conversation.

“You have a problem with people that speak Spanish in your country, right?” Ramirez asked the woman.

“Yeah, but it’s America. It’s America,” the woman responded. “You don’t speak Spanish in America. It’s an English-speaking country.”

Ramirez then informer the woman that her comment was racist, to which she replied, "I don’t care."

"I hate Mexicans! It’s true!" the woman continued. "There it is!"

In an Instagram post documenting the woman's behavior, Ramirez lamented that her young son was exposed to such bigotry.

"I can’t believe it’s 2023 and we are knee deep in hatred and bigotry yet this person wasn’t even subtle nor hiding it," she wrote. "Never thought I’d experience this, and I thought I’d ignore someone like this, but in the presence of my son no one will scream at him nor me what language to speak in.”
