Donald Trump claims the 'very dishonest press' is covering up terror attacks

President Donald Trump on Monday accused the media of covering up terrorist attacks in Europe.

Trump said that terrorism had gotten so bad that "it's not even being reported. And in many cases the very, very dishonest press doesn't want to report it."

"They have their reasons and you understand that," the president added.

Trump was speaking at the MacDill Air Force Base in Florida.

Last week, Trump's senior advisor Kellyanne Conway complained that an event that never happened -- what she called the "Bowling Green massacre" -- didn't get covered by the media.
