'I may decide to beat them for a third time': Trump maintains he won in 2020 and teases a 2024 run

Former President Donald Trump appeared before the CPAC event in Orlando, Florida on Sunday to tell the crowd that the GOP is unified around him and those who are not are an isolated few "establishment" Republicans in Washington.

This year, the president only gave the American flag a slight hug, whereas before he gave it a large embrace.

"Do you miss me yet?" Trump begged for applause.

Among the things that Trump complained about was President Joe Biden and the demand that he "open the schools." Despite being president, Biden can't open schools because schools are regulated by communities and their local school boards who make their decisions. At the same time, the GOP opposed funding to help make schools safe to reopen.

"The Republican Party is united," Trump also said amid the fractured GOP. "The only division is between a handful of Washington DC establishment political hacks, and everybody else all over the country."

Trump went on to say that he had the best numbers in history at 95 percent, which flies in the face of his 55 percent in the CPAC straw poll announced before Trump arrived.

Trump went on to mock Biden saying he never knew what he was talking about.

"In just one short month we've gone from American first, to America last," Trump also said, without providing examples. Trump then bragged about his border wall, saying that he built it and that it has been amazing, but that somehow despite his wall, Biden was still allowing border crossings. Now, Trump said that because Biden "eliminated our border" he's allowing "tens of thousands" into the U.S. None of those things are true.

Trump then returned to his message from his announcement for president, saying that those immigrants "may be rapists" and other dangerous people, which has been disproven over and over again.

Trump went on to denounce double masking, attacked Dr. Fauci and implied that Fauci even opposed social distancing.

His largest applause came nearly ten minutes into the speech when he talked about Democrats losing the presidential race in 2024. He then teased a possible 2024 run.

"I may decide to beat them for a third time," Trump said after claiming he beat Democrats already in 2020.
