Donald Trump: I'd rather fight #BlackLivesMatter than let them speak at my events

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump suggested on Tuesday that he would physically stop Black Lives Matter activists who attempted to protest his campaign events, The Hill reported.

"That will never happen with me," he said at the end of a press conference in Birch Run, Michigan. "I don't know if I'll do the fighting myself, or if other people will, but that was a disgrace."

The real estate mogul argued that Democratic candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders showed "weakness" when he allowed two women identifying themselves as part of the movement to interrupt him during an appearance at a rally in Seattle over the weekend. Sanders opted to leave the stage when the two women insisted on shutting the event down.

"I would never give up my microphone. I thought that was disgusting," Trump said, adding, "I felt badly for him, but it showed that he's weak. You know what? He's getting the biggest crowds, and I'm getting the biggest crowds. We're the ones getting the biggest crowds. But believe me, that's not gonna happen to Trump."
