MSNBC's Joe Scarborough ridiculed Donald Trump's ongoing obsession with Barack Obama.
The quadruple-indicted former president seems to think he's running against his predecessor, who hasn't been in office since early 2017, and the "Morning Joe" host said Trump has never gotten over Obama mocking him at the 2011 White House Correspondents' Dinner.
"I'm dead serious, you followed this guy a very long time," Scarborough said. "There is the confusion between Nikki Haley and Nancy Pelosi, the continued confusion between Barack Obama and Joe Biden. That has a deep background, going all the way back to 2011. He really is – he continues to be obsessed and haunted by Barack Obama mocking him at the White House Correspondents Dinner, getting the respect he always thought he needed to get. The ghost of Obama haunts him every day. He says it, you see it on stage."
"You look at his eyes and how twisted and contorted his face was at the end of that clip," Scarborough added. "You also have, you know, talking about 'Mr. Argentina, a great guy.'"

Co-host Mika Brzezinski said Trump's family should take him to a doctor because he doesn't seem well, but Scarborough said he doesn't have anyone who cares enough for him.
"This is what we've been saying about Rudy Giuliani for a long time, there has to be someone around him who can protect him from himself," Scarborough said. "There is no one around Trump who can protect him from himself."
