Duggar family member: 'All science' points to creationism being true

Reality TV stars Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald last week visited the Institute for Creation Research in Texas, where they spoke to members of the self-described "leader in scientific research within the context of biblical creation."

Jessa and her husband Ben have not been shy about their disapproval of evolution. Last year, Jessa said that the theory of evolution played a role in the deaths of millions in Nazi concentration camps.

In a video uploaded to YouTube, Seewald asked the institute's Dr. Jason Lisle if he could prove that God existed.

Lisle explained to the 19 Kids and Counting star that atheists don't really exist at all. "The evidence of God is ubiquitous. It is everywhere," he told Seewald. "In fact, Roman 1 tells us that God has revealed himself to everyone, and what that means is, there is really no such thing as an atheist."

People who identified themselves as atheists were suppressing their inner "hard-wired" knowledge of God, according to Lisle.

"So I don't really have to give new evidence to a professing atheist," he continued. "All I have to do is expose his suppressed knowledge of God."

Lisle and Seewald agreed that people could not believe in morality if they didn't believe in God, and suggested atheists who believed in right and wrong were stealing concepts from religion.

"I know there is also a lot of scientific evidence, we are here at the Institute for Creation Research, and there is a lot of -- really, all science points to the validation of the Genesis account," Seewald said.
