He reported that Trump has "soured" on Bondi's approach, and her attempts at damage control have only worsened the situation. The timing of the Epstein revelations overshadowed Trump's State of the Union address, frustrating the White House. Lemire noted Trump has been urging the matter to disappear since last summer, repeatedly telling allies to stop discussing it.
