A prominent MAGA media personality slammed Democrats on Tuesday for the way some have criticized the slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Eric Bolling, a former Fox News host, talked about criticisms of Kirk during a new episode of his eponymous show on Tuesday. His comments come at a time when lawmakers have been debating a resolution to honor the late Kirk with a statue in the Capitol.
Bolling called out some comments from Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) specifically. Crockett said during an interview on CNN that she would not support the resolution to honor Kirk because of comments he made about race and people of color.
"What a disgusting smear, a disgusting lie, and saying it on the day of Charlie Kirk's funeral after he was killed because of the lies they told about Charlie is the lowest form of life, otherwise known as a Democrat," Bolling said. "And it's because of those lies that scum like Crockett and their fellow lying political hacks like Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), [Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY)], and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) voted against the resolution to honor Charlie Kirk."
"So spreading lies that get people killed on your network, that's acceptable, but parlaying facts about leftist violence that you help to foster, well, that's divisive rhetoric," he added. "See how it works? See what they do? The lowest form of human life is called a Democrat."
