2 students and gunman critically wounded in Colorado high school shooting: report

Two students and the suspected gunman were in critical condition after a shooting at Evergreen High School in Evergreen, Colorado, on Wednesday, The Denver Post reported.

One student was in surgery as of Wednesday afternoon, according to The Post.

"It’s not clear whether the suspected shooter was struck by police or shot themself," the report reads. "The juvenile suspect was a student at the school, but no additional information about their identity was available."

Investigators are still working to determine whether the shooting started inside or outside of the school. Bullets were found in at least one area outside the school, according to the report.
