Ex-Fox News analyst shreds his former network: It's a 'destructive propaganda machine' for Trump'

A former Fox News analyst has decided to part ways with the network, calling it a "destructive propaganda machine" in the age of Donald Trump.

Lt. Col. Ralph Peters (Ret.)  told CNN that in the past, Fox News offered a platform for libertarian and conservative perspectives that he'd found valuable.

But the network appears to have turned into a mouthpiece for the Trump administration.

"For years, I was glad to be associated with Fox. But with the rise of Donald Trump, Fox did become a destructive propaganda machine, and I don't do propaganda for anyone."

Peters added that the network panders to Trump and his supporters for ratings and profit.

"Knowingly, in my view, they're doing a grave, grave disservice to our country."
