Fargo elementary teacher booted from school after cruelly bullying 10-year-old students

School teacher Andrea Deschamp at Lewis and Clark Elementary in Fargo, North Dakota will not be returning to the classroom after Fargo Public Schools investigated a formal complaint of bullying, the Grand Forks Herald reported Wednesday.

"There were instances of a lot of crying at school, on the playground. She was found crying in the hallway multiple times," a mother, Alexandra, explained of her 10-year-old daughter.

The teacher allegedly required "detailed explanation" in front of the class over why they should be allowed to visit the restroom or school nurse. Children were even ridiculed for using chapstick.

"Bullying, it was bullying," Alexandra said. "We had to step in and kind of, protect her more than we ever have before."

"The teacher will not be returning to the classroom at Lewis & Clark Elementary School. The district continues to work with the teacher on the reported concerns," Fargo Public Schools said in a statement.

"They should see school as a place where they go to learn and have fun and make friends, and develop emotionally and mentally. It should not be a place where they have anxiety or fear," said Alexandra.
