FBI releases its records on Trump dossier author Christopher Steele -- but almost every page is redacted

The FBI on Friday released 71 pages of documents regarding to their relationship with Christopher Steele, the former British spy behind the so-called Trump dossier.

The released documents show that Steele was told to stop gathering intelligence after he was determined to be a source for an article in 2016, according to NBC News reporter Tom Winter.

But the vast majority of the documents are redacted.
