After flubbing Puerto Rico storm relief, Trump warns North Carolinians that Hurricane Florence is 'very bad'

President Donald Trump on Tuesday warned North Carolinians and others in the path of Hurricane Florence that there is a "chance" that the storm could be "very bad."

ABC News correspondent Karen Travers caught up with Trump at Joint Base Andrews and asked him about Hurricane Florence, a category four storm that is bearing down on the coasts of South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia.

“We are absolutely and totally prepared,” the president promised.

Trump added the caveat that there is a “chance it’s going to be very bad though."

The president also recently touted the "fantastic" job that his administration did after two hurricanes hit the island. Trump's remarks came after the island's governor has said that at least 2,975 people died in the storms.
