Fox & Friends pushes Trump to target ex-CIA Director John Brennan in revenge for Mueller probe

President Donald Trump is looking for some payback after enduring special counsel Robert Mueller's probe for the past two years, and "Fox & Friends" host Brian Kilmeade on Thursday suggested that the president should turn his attention toward former CIA Director John Brennan.

In particular, Kilmeade suggested that Brennan's cable news rants about Trump's purported links to Russian President Vladimir Putin were inspired by his relationship with Christopher Steele, the former MI-6 officer who penned the infamous dossier claiming Trump had been compromised by Russian intelligence agencies.

"I do have somebody within the CIA who I've gotten friendly with, to say to me that if you want to know where this goes, look at Brennan's link to Steele," Kilmeade claimed. "And that was the first time I even thought about that, but they have a long relationship."

"You're talking to a CIA spy?!" exclaimed co-host Steve Doocy.

"No, it's the CIA working on our side," Kilmeade replied cryptically.

Similarly, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) on Thursday claimed that "a high-level source tells me it was Brennan who insisted that the unverified and fake Steele dossier be included in the Intelligence Report" and he demanded that the former CIA chief be hauled before the Senate.
