Fox News host Laura Ingraham chides Honduran migrants for 'flying flag of country that oppressed you'

Fox News has spent the last year criticizing black athletes like former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick for kneeling during the National Anthem to protest police brutality.

However, on Thursday host Laura Ingraham reversed course, and criticized Honduran migrants currently making their way to the U.S. on foot to seek asylum for respecting their country's flag even though they felt oppressed by the regime.

Ingraham had famously told LeBron James to "shut up and dribble," among other racially charged criticisms of black athletes who did not show what she considered to be appropriate deference to the American flag.

Ingraham made the remarks while speaking with Border Patrol agent Art Del Cueto, who bragged of being called an "Uncle Juan" for working to stop Latino migrants from entering the country.

"The only flag that I would fly, the only flag that I support, and the only country I support is the United States of America," Del Cueto said.

"A lot of blue Honduran flags in that caravan," Ingraham said. "The Honduran flag, other flags, I don't see a lot of American flags."

"Well, if you're escaping a country because they've oppressed you so badly would you be really flying the flag of that country that oppressed you?" Del Cueto said.

"That's a great point!" Ingraham said.
