Republican and Democratic pundits battled over Elon Musk's numbered days in the government during a profanity-laced panel on Fox News.
On the Sunday panel, Fox News host Mike Emanuel asked Jonathan Kott, a former adviser to one-time Democratic Senator Joe Manchin, if he would miss Musk after the billionaire DOGE administrator returns to the private sector.
"Democrats would love for him to stick around," Kott replied. "He doesn't understand how government works and, two, he lies. Every time he gets out there, he makes things up."
"When he says there are all these people who we found these amazing things that you'll never believe and then then it just turns out not to be true, people are starting to realize that he's kind of full of s--t," he continued before being interrupted by Republican panelist Cassie Smedile.
"I think we have to get off of your talking points here," she argued. "I know Democrats love to curse these days to try and make your point."
"I'm from New York City. I've been — I've been cursing my whole life," Kott replied.
Smedile conceded that Musk had been wrong about people fraudulently taking Social Security.
"That's the key point," Kott said.
"Give me a minute," the Republican continued. "To the broader question, you guys never even gave him a chance. You guys hated Elon — I mean, you were happy to buy his cars, initially. But you guys hated the idea of DOGE before President Trump was ever sworn in for his second term."
"The very people you talk about were purportedly harmed by DOGE are the ones who have been getting the short end of the stick all along because of Democrats' incredible out-of-control spending like President Biden, who had the horrible Green New Scam," she added.

Kott pointed out that Biden's Inflation Reduction Act was written by "coal barron Joe Manchin."
"That's just not believable. I worked for the guy for eight years," he observed. "The Green New Deal is not anything. That is not anything that ever was passed."
"That's what they did through executive order in the Biden administration," Kott shot back.
