A Georgia grand jury has indicted State Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner Jim Beck, reports Fox 5 in Atlanta.
He's accused of committing wire fraud, mail fraud, and money laundering, among other crimes. He is also allegedly involved with the Georgia Christian Coalition in the fraud scheme.
Beck has been the target of multiple investigations by Fox 5.
As the Atlanta Journal Constitution reported, his alleged schemes earned him millions, which he poured in his race for office, according to the indictment. He spent other proceeds to pay his taxes and on personal expenses.
