A Georgia woman on Tuesday told CNN that she is voting for the Republican candidate for governor, Brian Kemp, because she always votes for "freedom."
At a polling place in Powder Springs, Georgia, CNN's Gary Tuchman asked a woman named Lindsay about her motivations for voting.
"Who are you voting for?" the CNN correspondent wondered.
"Brian Kemp," Lindsay stated.
"Does the president of the United States, Donald Trump, have any influence on why you're voting for Kemp?" Tuchman pressed.
"No," Lindsay replied. "I always vote conservative. I always vote for freedom."
While it wasn't clear what type of "freedom" Lindsay was concerned about, Kemp has vowed to sign the nation's "toughest abortion" restrictions into law as governor.
