Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani posted a video of his dog Vinny at Mar-a-Lago on Thursday when he was two hours late to trial in Manhattan.
Giuliani was expected to show up for a civil trial to determine if he could retain ownership of his Florida condo and personalized World Series rings. The former mayor was recently found in contempt after a judge ruled that he defamed two former election workers and awarded them $148 million in damages.
"Judge Lewis J. Liman of U.S. District Court in Manhattan is expected to rule on whether Mr. Giuliani must surrender his Palm Beach, Fla., condo, which he claims is his primary and only remaining residence, to pay down a multimillion-dollar judgment. The apartment was valued at $3.5 million," The New York Times noted.
But instead of appearing in court on Thursday, Giuliani posted a video of his dog on X.

"Vinny loves hanging out at Mar-a-Lago, but he's ready to spend a lot more time in Washington, D.C. over the course of the next four years in support of his favorite President—Donald J. Trump!" he wrote.
The trial was ultimately delayed, according to reports.
Giuliani also recently complained that a courtroom sketch artist made him look like his dog.
