GOP lawmaker reduced to fuming about Hillary's emails after Dem shames him for enabling Trump's obstruction

Rep. Mark Meadows on Wednesday was reduced to angrily fuming about Hillary Clinton's missing State Department emails after a Democratic colleague shamed him for enabling President Donald Trump's obstruction of congressional investigations.

During a hearing held by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) hammered the Trump administration for stonewalling multiple congressional investigations and refusing to comply with any congressional subpoenas.

"This administration has tried to pull the curtain down over the executive branch and say, 'We’re not cooperating with the census investigation and we’re not cooperating with the request for the president’s tax returns,'" Raskin said. "They simply are not respecting the constitutional role of Congress!"

Raskin went on to show how the Obama administration did comply with congressional subpoenas and handed over documents requested by Republicans investigating the White House.

"My friends on the other side of the aisle got millions of documents in the Benghazi investigation and in 'Fast and Furious' and in the Hillary Clinton email investigation," he said. "I could go on and on."

"Well we're still missing 30,000 emails, I can tell you that!" complained Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC), referring to Clinton's missing emails.

Even though Clinton lost the 2016 election and is not the president of the United States, congressional Republicans have continued trying to probe her missing emails for the last three years.
