GOP Senate candidate promises to end Mueller's 'witch hunt' if elected

An Indiana congressman hoping to unseat a Democratic senator in Indiana promised constituents that if they elect him, he'll end special counsel Robert Mueller's "witch hunt" investigation into President Donald Trump's ties to Russia.

"They’re using fake news to destroy our president," Rep. Todd Rokita (R-IN) said of his opponent, Sen. Joe Donnelly (D-IN), as well as the special counsel and his House of Representatives colleague, Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). "Who’s tough enough to stop the witch hunt?"

The congressman charged his GOP primary opponent Luke Messer with being a "never-Trumper" before promising that he'll "build the wall," make English the official language of the United States and ban sanctuary cities.
