Gorilla sign language is more eloquent than Trump's 'big water' remarks about Puerto Rico: Twitter

On Thursday, once again, President Donald Trump sought to excuse his administration's disorganized and tardy response to the disastrous impact Hurricane Maria on Puerto Rico by saying that you can't "drive your trucks" there because it's an island.

"This is an island. Surrounded by water. Big water. Ocean water," he said during a speech to the American Association of Manufacturers.

Twitter users unleashed on the former reality TV game show host for appearing to still be getting acquainted with the concept of islands and their relationship to "big water."
