'We gotta play it one more time': CNN's Don Lemon cracks up watching Paul Manafort's awkward lies about Russia

Most of Donald Trump's associates were consistent in denying that Trump had any business ties to Russia during the 2016 campaign.

But not all of them did a good job—take campaign boss Paul Manafort, who very awkwardly lied about Trump's ties to Russia during the election.

On Thursday, CNN's Don Lemon ran footage of Manafort saying it was "our position" that there were no financial ties between Trump and Russia.

"That's what, uh, he said, that's uh, what I said" Manafort said of Trump's denials. "That's obviously what—the—what our position is."

Lemon could not control his laughter.

"A little awkward," Lemon said. "We gotta play it one more time."

Lemon continued laughing.

"That was really, really awkward," he said, laughing uncontrollably. "Doesn't that just sum all of this up?"
